‘European Voluntary Service’ Opportunities and Perspectives, is a seminar under the 4.3 Youth in Action, that will be held in Limassol, Cyprus. It is targeted to youth working with young people as well as to youth leaders, youth trainers and young volunteers from European Union.
Aim of the seminar is to introduce participants to the principles of volunteerism, to provide detail information about the European Voluntary Service, how to organize and implement a project and which are the opportunities and obstacles that an organization may come across during the project process.
The project will have parallel sessions where participants will have the opportunity to approach various aspects of the EVS and choose the session that will participate. The project is addressed to both young trainers and young volunteers, and will follow a multi-dimensional approach.
The methods that will be used during the project implementation will be based on non-formal ways of learning such as workshops, role-playing games, events, expositions, forum etc. Overall different activities will be planned in order to exchange ideas, to meet young people around Europe and to promote European Voluntary Service.
