European values and Youth

The foundations of United Europe is based on fundamental ideas and values that are shared by all member states and are translated into practice through the Community institutions. These commonly accepted core values include- peace, unity, equality, freedom, security and solidarity.
The objectives declared by the European Union aim to guarantee the principles of freedom, democracy and the rule of law, which are shared by all Member States (Article 6 (1) of the EU Treaty). Along with the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, these principles were further developed in the EU Treaty, namely for the first time in the Treaty, the measures to be taken if these principles were violated (Articles 7 and 8 of the Treaty for the EU).
With this project we want to improve the understanding of European values by young people and to promote them in their communities
