European identity on stage

"European identity on stage" is a Youth Exchange project that will take place in San Cassiano (in the South of Italy) from 15th to the 31st October 2016. It will involve 40 young people aged 18-31 from five different countries (8 participants per partner, including 2 leaders). The participants will be involved in the scriptwriting and performing of a musical entitled “Europe, United in Diversity”. The activities will therefore include scriptwriting, dancing, singing, acting and the final performance of the musical. Cooperation will be the working method and the main challenge for the particpants who, working side by side with young people from different countries, will have the chance both to open themselves to different cultures and, at the same time, instilling each of their cultural identities in the show. In this way, the participants will express not only the cultural identity of their country of origin but also their European identity, based on the idea of the beauty of diversity.
