Project summary:
Description:
The theme of the project is the culture of festivity in European cultures. In 9 days, youth will use non-formal education methods to discuss music, dance, food and festivity as an integral element of European culture.
Project aims:
1. Cultural exchange for better mutual understanding between youth from EU and neighbouring countries.
2. Presenting festivity as a rich cultural form that combines elements of music, rituals, dance, food, religion beliefs, etc.
3. Supporting youth in communicating skills especially young people from rural and small town regions.
Organization’s/ participant’s profile:
Each organization should be ready to prepare and send 4-5 young participants aged 16-19 plus a group leader aged 24+. The participants should be able to communicate in English but they can be assisted by the group leader with language difficulties.
The English level of the leader should be high enough to discuss complex issues and help his/her group with language difficulties.
Total number of participants per organization: 5-6 (4-5 young people aged 16-19 + group leader aged 24+)
Time and place of venue:
24 September –2 October 2016 (+2 days of travel), Klimontów (about 60 km from Cracow) in the building owned by Foundation CampoSfera (www.camposfera.pl)
General information:
The place of accommodation and workshops:
Education Centre in Klimontów.
The participants will be accommodated in a place specially designed for such projects.
Due to the fact that the place is designed for youth project, accommodation will be provided in dormitories. Participants need to take their own towels and slippers.

The rules of partnership :
Not later than a month before the beginning of the project’s activities, partners are supposed to submit the list of proposed participants and order the tickets not later than two weeks before the activities. According to the guidelines from Erasmus+ Program we reimburse the travel costs up to the given amount set by the European Commission.
