European common history for a better future

Iniciativa Internacional Joven is going to submit a new European project for the 6th June 2024 deadline of CERV-2024-CITIZENS-REM-EUINTEGRATION

The main aim of the project is to improve citizens’ knowledge and understanding of the history and defining moments of the European integration and how this process has positively affected the lives of Europeans.

The structure of the project is based on two main groups of activities:
1. Collection of testimonials (video interviews) from individuals aged between 70 and 80 years old in each project country and preparation of a photo exhibition showcasing defining moments of European integration that will be presented during roundtable meetings at local level in each project country to reflect on the changes and impact of European integration.
2. Creation of a participatory mural on the history of European Integration with involvement from the local population in its design, providing an opportunity for reflection on the key moments represented in the artistic piece. Final Conference to present the results and the mural. Cultural mediation activity with local population.

We are looking for organisations from the above-mentioned countries that have experience in activities related to the history of the European Union and in organising cultural events, photo exhibitions and/or graffiti.
