EUDERES European Democracy a Recent Story - CERV

EUDERES European Democracy a Recent Story Project, a project framed within the European Remembrance branch of the CERV Programme; which seeks to delve into the nationalisms and authoritarianisms of the 20th Century, with the intention of providing information about what happened to future generations.

The EUDERES Project will be of great
relevance, since it will involve not only various
associations linked to countries where a
regime change from authoritarian to a
democratic regime took place, but also
experts in the field, testimonials from
individuals who experienced the change of
society's regime, as well as the current social
foundations themselves.

This group of actors has as general objectives:

Remember events that occurred in the
past.

Discuss the situations that caused the
different historical events.

Analyze the different aspects that made up
these events.

Understand the historical evolution of the
same as well as its consequences.

Strengthen the concept that democracy is
a fundamental part if we want to improve
as individuals.
