EU Summer School

An unique simulation of EU decision-making,legislative procedures,and opportunity to learn and discuss current EU related topics in the heart of Europe.

EU Summer School will give an opportunity to 100 young people from all around the Europe to meet, and to get the first-hand insight into the workings of the complex political system that is the EU.

Participants will have a chance to participate in simulation meetings of European parliament and Council of the EU, to debate various topics - such as enlargement, youth unemployment, future of the EU, active european citizenship, common foreign and security policy, EU Quiz Nigh and so on.

Besides this, there will be a diverse program full of non-formal activities which will provide the participants with the possibility to learn more about our national and regional culture, exchange different ideas and of course give them the chance to make friends from all over Europe.

The participants will be given an opportunity to grasp the working of the EU institutions in practice, to understand policy challenges and pressing current issues which the EU is faced with, as well as the underlying principles, standards and values of the EU. Participants will improve also their rhetorical, negotians and language skills, since the whole project will take place in English.

EU Summer School will be held in Bratislava, capital city of Slovakia in July 2015 for 10 days.
We are going to apply and to get support from Europe for Citizens programme, within 1 September deadline and need partners from above mentioned countries. If the project will be approved, each partner will send for the project 4 participants.
