EU Spring School

Youth Exchange about EU, its institutions, values and integration for youth from EU and candidate countries.

This project aims to discuss and promote European values and democratic legacy as well to establish contacts and cooperation among young people across the continent. In the age when European Union and its neighbors are facing not only economic crisis, but also social issues, freedom of movement issues, refugee crisis and even armed conflict on the east, European values and many European achievements are vulnerable. Young people are more and more radical and xenophobic and less and less tolerant, critical, active and open minded. Therefore, this project was created by youth of partner organisations and its staff and it has following objectives:
- to gather 60 young people from very diverse European countries and provide them with opportunity to discuss and learn about youth perspectives on European integrations, EU enlargement and future of Europe;
- to educate young people about European values and empower them to be peer educators and promoters of those values among their friends;
- to facilitate constructive and critical participation of young people through proposing policy reforms, claiming rights and democratization of decision making process in accordance to EU and national law and standards,
- to develop resources for youth work and provide experience to participants and organisations involved needed for implementation of local activities regarding European values and integration
