EU GENERATION: MY FUTURE IS YOUR FUTURE!

With contract number EN 11 E 13 2013 R1 the Italian National Agency has approved the Multilateral project (Action 1.1) EU GENERATION: MY FUTURE IS YOUR FUTURE! Unfortunately our Finnish partner won't be able to take part in the project and therefore we're looking URGENTLY for another partner (other finnish organizations are preferred)! In the following lines you will find detailed information about the project. The detailed day by day is also attached.

PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES (ALREADY CONFIRMED): ITALY, SPAIN, DENMARK, SLOVAKIA, FRANCE

IN EU GENERATION Fifty youngsters aged from 16 to 19 will deal with the issue of intergeneration relationships and gap, with regards to family, jobs, personal relations, social life, culture, sense of citizenship and belonging to their nation and their relationship with Europe and european citizenship.
In a moment where the solidarity between different generations seems in crisis and stuck, we want to answer the invitation of the European Parliament to dedicate this new year, 2013, to all "Citizens", with no distinction of sex, age, life, and place. The exchange, therefore, will give voice to the creative narratives of interrelated and crossed experiences between generations, gender and places: the objective is to reflect on our future and on our being european citizens.
Through photography and video labs, direct experiences and visits, we will face the issue of generations' confront in a changing Europe: photos of faces and hands, different foods and traditions, innovations and old jobs, the national and european myths and role models. But we will also deepen how personal and gender relationships changed, how the music changed but still unify us, the meaning of intergenerational volunteering, the difficulty of living in the narratives of our grandparents…
