EthnoLibrary

We want to address the need of preserving national folk costume in European context.

We noticed a high need of preserving national and European cultural heritage (crafts, traditions, folk costumes). We would like to focus particularly on national folk costumes.

The objectives of the project are broadly the following:
- to raise awareness about national and European cultural heritage
- to make people more conscious about the historic, art and cultural values of folk costumes
- to find solutions against companies who promote illicit marketing of copied folk costumes or details without giving credit to the community
- to stimulate the cultural responsability for young people in order to preserve the folk costumes.

We would like to involve 6 countries (Romania + other 5 partners).
Target group: 4 youth (14-18 years old) + 1 youth leader (no age limit)
We encourage the participation of youth with fewer opportunities.
Venue: Curtea de Arges, Romania

The project will be held in April 2021.

**We are looking for partners that are strongly committed to preserving cultural heritage and in particular national folk costume.
