ESV great experience with children and their mother

The volunteers will be entered into the ordinary activities of the "Santa Chiara" house and the cooperative in respect of mother-child and immigrant community. They will thus be able to interact and participate in the services offered to these guests, both in ordinary and leisure activities.
The volunteer will receive from the manager of the residencial house or from the tutor or mentor or other top managers, tasks useful for him / her and the guests weekly or monthly in order to have a mutual enrichment from the educational point of view. An indicative daytime of the vounteers could be:
7.30-8.30 preparation and deliver of breakfast,
8.30-12.00 planning of the activities of the day, such as activities for children, for integration, social inclusion, funny things, ride for discovering the city and its history, meetings and events, learning of Italian language, etc, One a week the equipe, the meeting with psicologist, manager, operators, usually on Wendnesday.
12.00-14.00 preparation of the lunch,
14.00-18.00 activities with children, mothers, residential persons of the house
18.00-20.00 preparation of the dinner and night
20.00-21.00 relaxing evening
Saturday and Sunday: more activities during the morning and out of the house, in the city and in the area. Socialization and integration of the persons.
For a total of 36 hours per week.
There will be regular meetings with staff management of 2 hours to verify the good performance of the lives of EVS volunteers and their contribution to the activities of the structures. In addition, once a month a planning meeting and planning monitoring of ESV requests and problems.
They will be followed by a tutor and a mentor for listening to any need, request, problem.
We propose them to share their ESV experience with other young people in our city, disseminating this great and good opportunity for every young.
Our gaims are to explain and aknowledge the social, political and historical background of our area, and present opportunities for the future.
We discuss about stereotyspies and misunderstanding of European cultures and countries, how to build good relations with other people and bridges for peace and European citizenship.
We offer activities to promote a non formal learning and awareness of European house and values.
Our house has 1 director, 1 educational responsable, 4 social educators, 1 tutor and 1 mentor. Up to 20 guests.
