ESC @ HECANSA 2022

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
HECANSA is a public company whose objective is to contribute to the strengthening of the competitiveness of the tourism sector in the Canary Islands. ESC @ HECANSA:2022 volunteers will be helping in different activities of different departments of the company, such as educational, marketing, internationalization. ESC @ HECANSA 2022 will be held in 2 School Hotels, located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife island) and Santa Brigida (Gran Canaria island) and the Central Office of the company, located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city. Activities for volunteers will consist in helping in various departments of the company: 1) International Project department: helping with international projects. 2) Communication and Events department. 3) Educational department: helping with the language classes, organizing speaking lessons with the students, by using non-formal education methodology.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Travel costs to and from Tenerife or Gran Canaria to the country of residence of the volunteer will be reimbursed within the available budget of ESC. HECANSA will be providing suitable accommodation and meals to the volunteer in both Centers. The volunteers will stay at the students´ residence that we have next to the Hotel. The volunteers will receive 3 meals a day, the menu is prepared by the students of our centers with the aim of promoting local gastronomy and healthy way of life. IF the volunteer need to move to any place for activity, transport costs will be covered by HECANSA.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
The volunteer will receive on arrival and mid evaluation training courses, provided by the National Agency of Spain. HECANSA will provide different training activities, as this is educational institution, that organizes different training courses all year along. We also will provide Spanish language courses for the volunteers.
