Erasmus + Sport (SSCP) Strengthening Social Integration and Gender Equality Through Traditional Sports Games

We are seeking collaborative partners (NGOs, municipalities, sports clubs, migrant support organizations, etc.) to join our 12-month initiative aimed at empowering and integrating immigrant youth, particularly girls, through traditional sports games (TSG). Our project addresses cultural barriers that limit access to physical activity including environments for immigrant youth while promoting gender equality and social cohesion in sports environments. A key component of this initiative is raising awareness and equipping coaches with the tools to effectively engage immigrant youth in physical activity & sports, ensuring they create inclusive and culturally sensitive environments. By combining skill development, intercultural dialogue, and community engagement, we aim to create inclusive spaces where young people can thrive.

The project will organize TSG camps across regions, focusing on both skill-building and team-based activities to foster social integration. Parallelly, coaches will receive specialized courses in cultural sensitivity, conflict management, and motivation techniques tailored to engage girls and immigrant youth into physical activity & sports. "Gender Equality in Sports" and "Effective Communication with Immigrant Youth" themed seminars will be hosted and shared openly as digital resources. Post-project deliverables include a comprehensive TSG database and a multilingual guide for immigrant families highlighting the benefits of sports and a practical handbook for coaches.

We Are Looking For Partners Who Can:
• Co-organize sports camps or training sessions in their region.
• Provide expertise in immigrant youth integration, gender equality, or intercultural communication.
• Support outreach to immigrant communities or contribute to disseminating project outputs (e.g., translating guides, sharing seminars).
