ERASMUS-SPORT-2025-SCP” Call for proposals for COOPERATION PARTNERSHIP

The need to join an Erasmus+ project is inspired by the work experience of Gators Basket Club Amateur Sports Association, which since 2015 has activated an innovative and unique pilot project: the creation, through the activation of an ad hoc training course, of a new educational role, competent and sensitive to the needs of young people and their many fragilities, with particular attention to disabilities.
This role, which emerged from a “Training School for Sports Educators” that we developed, is the Sports Educator. Not foreseen in the CONI or Federation sports regulations, after appropriate evaluations, the figure of the educator proved to be a necessity, as well as an important resource in the ASD’s sports promotion activities, alongside and complementing the more traditional roles of the Instructor and the Coach, but also fundamental for the creation and development of a real “Sport for Social” Sector active and operating to respond to the numerous requests and needs coming from the territory to which it belongs.
