We aim to contribute to the social inclusion and participation in climate action of people with disabilities, by intervening in the sports sector.
We understand that Bocce is a sport that allows us to work simultaneously with different actors, promoting inclusion and diversity, community development and EU values, while working for a green perspective and sustainable attitudes in all linked with this sport.
OBJECTIVES
- Promote the dialogue, reflection and capacity-building of adapted sports / Bocce professionals about EU and Sports Values, Social Inclusion and Green Sports;
- Develop, implement and disseminate an intervention methodology aimed at professionals and athletes of adapted sport to promote inclusive and sustainable practices in sports and communities;
- Promote the participation of people with disabilities in the fight against climate change at local, regional and EU levels.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND PARTICIPANTS (prevision)

Seminar for Bocce/adapted sports professionals – 4 days activity in Felgueiras, Portugal - December 2023
Participants per partner: 3 sports’ professionals – coaches, managers, accompanying person … (1 with fewer opportunities)
Follow-up mobility – 5 days activity in Felgueiras, Portugal - September 2024
Participants per partners: 8 sports’ professionals + 6 athletes
Local activities (each partner implements in its context): preparation of professionals and athletes; Workshops to deepen staff's competences; Workshops to promote athletes inclusion and participation in the implementation of green practices; dissemination.
