(Erasmus+ Ka-152) Recycling Heroes for a Sustainable Future

Within Erasmus+ KA152, young people will take part in a 10-day youth exchange in Denizli focused on recycling and sustainability through hands-on activities.

Within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA152-YOU programme, we are seeking international partner organisations willing to cooperate in the design and implementation of the youth exchange project titled “Recycling Heroes for a Sustainable Future.” The project is structured around the themes of sustainability, recycling, environmental awareness, and youth participation, and aims to bring together young people from different countries within shared learning and co-creation processes focused on environmental responsibility.

Planned to be submitted in the February 2026 application round, this international youth exchange aims to increase young people’s knowledge and awareness of recycling, waste management, and sustainable lifestyles, while empowering them as active young individuals who are able to translate environmentally friendly behaviours into daily life. The learning process will be supported through experiential activities, workshops, field-based practices, group work, and volunteering activities, and will be reinforced through non-formal education methods and structured reflection and evaluation sessions.

The international mobility is planned to take place in Denizli, Türkiye, and will be implemented over a period of ten days. The project is designed as an inclusive learning environment in which participants live together, share responsibilities, and collaboratively develop solutions related to environmental sustainability. In this context, shared daily life practices, recycling-focused applications, and collective responsibilities will be used as core learning tools to enhance environmental awareness, teamwork, and intercultural interaction.

The target group of the project consists of young people aged 18–30. Priority will be given to young people who are interested in environmental issues, sustainability, and volunteering, who are willing to actively participate, who have limited prior Erasmus+ experience, and who come from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Participation is foreseen with five young participants and one group leader from each partner country.

Partner organisations are expected to contribute to the selection and preparation of participants, actively participate in project activities, ensure regular communication and coordination throughout the project cycle, and support the dissemination of project outcomes at the local level. The project aims to develop long-term cooperation among participating organisations and to establish a strong and sustainable foundation for future Erasmus+ projects in the field of environmental sustainability.

Organisations interested in the project are kindly invited to contact us via email or WhatsApp to request an online meeting in order to receive further information and discuss potential cooperation.
