Erasmus+ Collaborative Partnership

The Spin Association is currently looking for partner organisations from any of the Erasmus+ Program Countries for an Erasmus+ Collaborative Partnership.

The project addresses the following Erasmus+ Sport objective: Promote education in and through sport with special focus on skills development, as well support the implementation of the EU Guidelines on Dual Careers of Athletes.

We intend to apply to the EACEA on April, 21st.

The overall project duration will be of 2 years and the main theme will be social inclusion of disadvantaged groups through sports, focusing especially on soft skills development and fostering school/formal education/work success. The project activities will focus especially on transferring the existing ANFR methodology to international partners' organisations for testing, adaptation and evaluation. Based on ANFR's experience with the methodology and the input from the international pilot organisations, a manual will be elaborated and published for all those who would wish to implement the methodology or parts of it in their organisations. At the end of the project, a conference on inclusion through sports will be organised in Portugal, as well as multiplying events in partner countries. ANFR´s methodology organises the work with the target group along a football team metaphor and uses street football (a socio-educational tool, based on the game of football) to teach the necessary values and soft skills, thus fostering success at school/work and social inclusion.
