ENYA - Enhancing Networking for Youth Activities

”ENYA” is a Contact Making Event (former PBA) aiming to promote the cooperation and creation of lasting partnerships among organisations w/ young people.

1. SUMMARY
”Enhancing Networking for Youth Activities – ENYA” is a Contact Making Event (former PBA) aiming to promote the cooperation and creation of long-lasting partnerships and projects among organisations willing to work on projects for the empowerment of young people towards employability and entrepreneurship. The participants will also receive the knowledge and skills necessary to assure a high quality management of international learning projects within ERASMUS+ Programme.
Among the Event themes are partnership opportunities under the Erasmus+ Programme, culture of NGOs in West and East, organisational needs assessment, projects ideas project design and planning, project implementation and monitoring.
2. METHODOLOGY
The methodology used in this activity is based on non-formal education. The Event will be aiming at providing the participants with practical skills useful for the management of international projects and building of long-lasting and reliable partnerships.
3. OBJECTIVES
The main objectives are:
- To bring together potential partners and facilitate the building of long-lasting and reliable partnerships
- To give partners the necessary context to develop common projects under Erasmus + Programme
- To offer reflection time upon own and partners’ potential to create visibility, dissemination, exploitation of result and local impact of projects;
- To share experiences and best practices;.
4. TARGET GROUP
The Event is open for voluntary and professional youth workers, working directly with young people, within an NGO, a social enterprise, a public body at local or regional level, a group of young people active in youth work (informal group), an association of regions from Geographical Europe.
5. PARTICIPANTS
Max 32 participants from 8 European countries. Participants should be at least 21 years old. This Contact Making Event will be held in English and participants are expected to be part of the full duration of the event. The Event will last for seven working days and will be deployed in Romania, in May/ June 2015.
6. RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTNERS
- Recruit and prepare participants for the activity
- Ensure visibility of the project in own networks
- Ensure dissemination of results and provide support for participants to develop new projects upon their return to their own countries
7. COSTS:
All costs regarding accommodation, meals and activities are covered from the project. The participants will cover for their transportation costs and will be reimbursed according to lump sums on travel distance band (check your distance here http://goo.gl/PdXMO3 with final destination Valenii de Munte, Romania) upon receiving original transport documents (bus tickets, airplane tickets + boarding passes etc). The project does not imply any other costs.
6. TO APPLY:
a. Agree on the above conditions by downloading and filling in the attached forms and send them over to partnerships@curbadecultura.ro by August 31st. 2014 of course.
We are keen on developing new partnerships with relevant rural youth organisations all around Europe.
