Energy without borders

The project will be carried out in VLC Centre in Zwoleń in July or August 2015. Young people from 3 EU countries will integrate & do environmental tasks.

For 8 days, 30 young people (with leaders’ support) from European Union countries will be accomplishing environmental tasks. Each group will consist of:
• 10 participants,
• 2 leaders.

The main objective of the project is to help the environment and develop a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship among young people.
Additional value of the project will be to encourage youth to open to one another, improve their self-esteem, overcome their weaknesses and language barriers.
Activities will encompass environmental tasks in international groups under the guidance of a mentor.

We also planned national evenings and language animations, during which young Europeans will have a possibility of expressing themselves and getting to know the peer group from the partner’s country. We plan to use only non-formal methods of learning. Moreover, we will organize two educational trips. The first one will take place in Warsaw, where participants will be asked to do a task about environment and entrepreneurship. Second one will have a more cognitive character; participants will visit workshops in Model Rural Ecotourism Centre“Environmentally Friendly”–School Youth–Green School in Sendeń.
Participants will have the possibility to document their actions on the blog.
