Project overview

Empowering Afghan Women & Girls is a project by
Social Welfare and Economic Development of Afghanistan in Denmark
taking place
from 2018-05-01 till 2019-12-31
This project relates to:
Training and Networking, Strategic Partnerships, Capacity Building, Meetings between young people and decision-makers
and is focusing on:
  • Gender equality
  • Leadership
  • Minorities
  • Non-formal learning
  • Religion and beliefs
  • Social media
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Economic obstacles
  • Educational difficulties
  • Cultural differences
  • Geographical obstacles
Afghanistan is a country that is very different compared to European Union countries. So is the people. Afghans have other obstacles compared to european citizens. But this doesn’t shouldn’t be a barrier for them to reach their goals. Women in particular face more obstacles than men. By this training course I hope we can open the door for other organizations to do more training courses.
