EmpowerHer Tech Labs: Yazidi Girls' Education

EmpowerHer Tech Labs in Iraq: Supporting Yazidi girls' education through technology. Help us make a difference https://gofund.me/8baa62bd

"EmpowerHer Tech Labs: Yazidi Girls' Education" is a project launched by Caravan of Humanity in collaboration with Jinda, aimed at empowering Yazidi girls and women in northern Iraq. Under the shadow of ISIS's brutal rule, they have faced immense hardship. The project, set to take place in March 2023, seeks to bridge the technological divide and provide these young women with the skills they need for a brighter future.

In three locations in northern Iraq—Amedi, Deralok, and Dohuk—the project plans to establish two computer labs, each equipped with a minimum of 24 computers. By spring 2023, these labs will offer computer education and skill training to at least 100 Yazidi girls and young women.

Funding for this initiative, which is estimated to cost 20,000 euros, is being sought from various sources, including Caravan of Humanity and external donors. Every contribution, regardless of its size, is vital to the project's success.

The project's implementation plan is comprehensive, encompassing the establishment of computer laboratories, training sessions, and progress monitoring. In collaboration with the local partners at Jinda, Caravan of Humanity is dedicated to ensuring the project's successful completion. Your support is crucial to making this empowering mission a reality.
