EDUCATION SUPPORT AND CAREER EMPOWERMENT

The Project was established to address the plight of the mentally handicapped among the community. The main objective of the school is to equip the mentally handicapped in the area of operation with skills and get employment in other sectors with technical qualifications to own their small industries and hence create their own employment and be self reliant.
Working with other staff members in nurturing the talents of those children, support educational development especially in the following fields; handicrafts, agriculture, home science and wood work. The volunteer will also be involved in the awareness creation with community to enlighten the local community and the needs of those children and enhance their acceptance in the community, capacity building and resource mobilization.
I6 years of age and above with a strong motivation and commitment to offer services with dignity without imposing values on those who receive their help. This irrespective of academic s, religion, social status and must remain a servant of people as demonstrated by the values guiding exchange of good practice in the society.
