AIM: To promote the use of game-based learning methods in youth work and explore application of educational board games through training youth workers to assess learning needs of young people, adapt game-based learning methods and develop table-top games in correspondence with them.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for organizations who work with young people and promote innovative educational methods and organizations who would like to enrich own working portfolio with innovative educational methods based on games and equip own staff/volunteers/local partners with skills of developing and facilitating educational board games.

HOW THE TRAINING WILL BE?
The training will be about discussing and discovering educational games, gamification and game-based learning followed by special attention to educational board games and their development mechanics. Towards the end of the course participants will create educational board games and test them with the local youth in Tallinn.
