Eco-psychology: Eco-challenges Resilience

We plan to hold a workshop in the field of eco-psychology. This workshop will focus on the relationship between Nature and human beings, and search for methods to regain understanding of the co-living and oneness of these two. In scope of this activity we aim to create a connection between participants and their inner self as well as a connection with nature and other participants by feeling unity with the living ecosystem around us. We will discuss questions as Do living creatures tend to socially cooperate or rather give individual struggles to survive? What do those different visions mean for our daily life and connection with Nature? We will use the rare opportunity of visually seeing the duality of human nature and technology with the construction of viaduct and have a discussion on this topic as well as “Discover Nature” events.

Participants can come from very different backgrounds without special relation to the workshops topic. They will be asked to contribute with their reflections, knowledge, experiences of their own cultural attitudes towards the environment, …. The intense time spent together nourishing and receiving from the place shall create strong bonds not only amongst participants, but as inclusive co-living with our environment. Günesköy is situated near a traditional Anatolian village, which gives the possibility to inter-cultural dialogs. We aim to contribute to the personal development of young people who want to be a part of this project and encourage them to take their own initiative.
