"Echoes of Tomorrow" - Erasmus+ Training Course

Our upcoming training course, "Echoes of Tomorrow" is going to be implemented by Támaszpont Mopka and Együttható Egyesület under the Erasmus+ accreditation from the 2nd to the 9th of March, 2024 (including travel days). Our project offers a platform for collaboration, learning, and exchange of ideas among like-minded social professionals committed to take part in creation of a sustainable future for youth.

Our aim is to develop competences of professionals working with youth on how to address the topics of sustainable development, degrowth, circular economy, the roles of media and big enterprises, curriculum integration on environmental and climate change topics using principles of critical pedagogy, activism and ways to voice our point of view towards environmental issues.

LEARNING OUTCOMES?
1. Knowledge about the history of green social movements, the concept of degrowth and its relation to social functions.
2. Ability and increased skillset on applying the principles of critical pedagogy on issues like environmentalism, climate change with a socially conscious and aware mindset.
3. Hands-on experience at designing, delivering and evaluating workshops related to the topic using non-formal education.
4. Expected boost/development in the following personal skills / attitudes:
-self-confidence,
-leadership,
-interpersonal communication,
-cooperation,
-results-oriented planning and execution,
-critical and analytical way of thinking,
-intercultural communication,
-professional use of English and IT assets.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE?
-We are aiming to host 25 professionals working with youth.
-We would like to engage and empower youth workers, social workers, activists, movement organizers, and university students of the relevant programmes who are interested in encouraging positive social change and learning more on the topics.
-There is no age limit for participation.
-Participants should be from Erasmus+ Programme countries.
-Sending organizations working field and/or objectives should be relative to the project topics. Upon selection, a partnership agreement will be signed with the sending organization.
-The project language is English. Here is why we are expecting participants (and personal assistants if any) with at least B2-level language proficiency.
-This project encourages participation of people living with disabilities by providing barrier-free environment and assistance if necessary. Contact us if you have questions
