Youth exchange on mental health, self-awareness and creativity: 10 days of workshops to build resilience, empathy and social inclusion.
The project “Eat Pray Love – Youth Exchange on Mental Health” will take place in a seaside town in Sicily, offering a safe and inspiring environment for reflection, sharing and creativity.
Over 10 days, young participants from different European countries will engage in non-formal education activities focused on mental health, self-awareness, and social inclusion. The program combines interactive workshops, mindfulness exercises, role plays, creative arts, digital storytelling, and group reflections. Topics include stress and anxiety management, empathy and diversity, relationships, self-esteem, resilience, and the impact of social media on wellbeing.
The seaside context of Sicily enhances the project with a peaceful atmosphere, where natural beauty and cultural heritage support relaxation, intercultural exchange and open dialogue. Participants will co-create a final public event to showcase their collective work (short videos, posters, performances), raising awareness on mental health and breaking stigma in the local community.
The project aims to:
Empower young people with tools for mental wellbeing and resilience
Promote empathy, tolerance and inclusion
Encourage creativity and intercultural understanding
Provide visibility to mental health awareness in a European context
Through this youth exchange, participants will not only strengthen their personal skills but also contribute to a supportive European network advocating for mental health as a shared priority.
