DRUG AND SUBSTANCE ERADICATION IN SLUMS WITHIN NAKURU COUNTY

Drug and substance abuse is a mojor cause of premature deaths among the young people.If the problem is not addressed adequately, then we risk loosing them more.

The youth forms a bigger percentage of the kenyan population.They habour an unmatched base of resouce and potentiality.However, the youths face a big challenge when it comes to drug and substance abuse.This menace is really threatening to wipe out this crop of potential citizens.

Nakuru county is one of the serously hit by this menace.Youths in this county have been reduced to mere nothingnes due to overindulgence in drugs and substances.It is in the slums that drugs are peddled and consumed.
PYA, has resulted to create a massive door to door awareness campaign to caution and cushion young people within this county againts the dangers of drug abuse.

The project is well thought, developed and its objectives are clearly cut out.
