Draw for Your Rights

We are currently looking for partner organizations for a Training Course under KA1 action! We intend to apply for Erasmus+ funding on October, 1st. If you are interested in being our partner organization, read the call below!

A Training Course to develop the use of drawing as an educational tool within youth work; promote Human Rights Education (HRE) through comics and illustration structured on communication principles.

Based on a Social Housing Neighbourhood that has been part of the Urban Art Tour of Lisbon in the last years, SPIN is a privileged host to develop this project, using an artistic tool to establish educational work and promote HRE among youngsters and young adults, especially from the neighborhood.

During the 7 days activity, we expect to embrace creativity and creative work while critically approaching fundamental issues, empowering youngsters and young adults towards their Rights and Duties in contemporary societies, developing their active citizenship.

Main objectives:
- Educate to promote Human Rights among youngsters and young adults;
- Develop drawing as an educational tool to be used by youth workers;
- Improve communication skills;

Conditions:
- Travels will be reimbursed up to the limit established by the Erasmus+ Program Guide within 3 months after the activity, given that all travel documents have been submitted to the coordinator, as well as the activity carried out in full by the participants and the partner organizations;
- Accommodation, food and activities will be covered by the host organization;

Partner Organization´s responsibilities:
- Be able to select and prepare 3 active participants (18+) willing to fully work during the project and implement the expected dissemination activities;
- Contribute to the general visibility and dissemination of the project;
- Be able to help and support in all the necessary logistics regarding preparation but also executing outcomes and dissemination activities, contributing for the overall accomplishment of the project;

To be partners, you should:
- Be an eligible institution from a Program or Partner Country (having all the necessary documents up-to-date on the Participant Portal);
- Agree to all the conditions of this call;
