Training Course – Erasmus +, K 1 – Mobility for Youth Workers, Planned for Spring 2015, Craiova, Romania
Summary: The Training Course has as aim to equip 21 youth workers from 7 countries with the skills and competencies required to support social entrepreneurship initiatives of youth with fewer opportunities. The innovative approach of the training course is the promotion of youth contribution to the communities’ development through their social initiatives. Additionally, all the TC’s methodology is based on non-formal education methodologies and the programme includes a consistent part of practice.
The project’s objectives are:
1. Empowering youth participation and stimulating the development of youth social entrepreneurship activities
2. Promoting European citizenship and youth participation as the main resource for the communities’ development
3. Developing a sustainable network of NGOs working on youth social entrepreneurship
4. Contributing to the participants’ skills and competencies’ development especially in regard to youth entrepreneurship and innovation potential.
The methodology: The project’s methodology is entirely based on non-formal education activities and aims at promoting non-formal education. Additionally, elements of leadership, education for citizenship, intercultural education and non-formal education will be integrated.
The participants’ profile: youth leaders or youth workers interested into developing their skills and competencies.
Financial conditions: according to Erasmus + rules.
The partners interested into the project idea are kindly invited to send the word form available below (in word or rtf format) as well as a short description of their target’s needs regarding the skills’ and competencies’ development – with the main focus on social entrepreneurship. The partnerships in the word and scanned form are expected to be received before Thursday, Friday, September 19th.
