Dolphin and Coral Reef Conservator

This experience is a unique opportunity to take part in meaningful environmental action on one of the world’s most biodiverse islands. Conservators will gain practical experience in ocean conservation and eco-tourism ethics while working side-by-side with local environmental experts. This role is ideal for young people who are passionate about protecting the planet and eager to contribute to community-based marine solutions.

As part of this experience, you’ll be involved in active coral reef restoration, ethical dolphin research, and coastal clean-up projects, all while collaborating with local youth and marine professionals. The role also encourages personal reflection, intercultural understanding, and creative environmental storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Dolphin Research: observe dolphins ethically and collect data to support eco-tourism

Coral Restoration: assist experts in reef-monitoring and restoration at a protected marine park

Environmental Action: join beach clean-ups and help turn plastic waste into educational art installations

Cultural Exchange: participate in local traditions, food, and reflection sessions for deeper immersion

Education and Outreach: support awareness sessions and collaborate with local students on marine topics

What We Are Looking For:
- Passion for marine biology, geography, climate science, or general interest in all
- Curiosity about eco-tourism, biodiversity, and environmental ethics
- Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative mindset
- Good observational, writing, or data-handling skills
- Strong interest in global sustainability and youth-led conservation
- Fluent or near-fluent in English (spoken and written)
