“KA152 Youth Exchange on nature, cultural heritage and active citizenship, bringing young people together in Portugal and Türkiye through non-formal learning.”
This project is a KA152 Youth Exchange implemented within the Erasmus+ framework, focusing on nature, cultural heritage and active citizenship. The main aim is to empower young people to become more environmentally aware, culturally sensitive and socially active citizens through intercultural learning experiences.
The project will bring together young people aged 18–27 from partner countries and will be implemented through two reciprocal youth exchange activities hosted in Portugal (Madeira – Câmara de Lobos) and Türkiye (Kütahya/Tavşanlı). Each activity will last 10 days (excluding travel) and will involve balanced groups of participants and group leaders from each country.
Activities will be based on non-formal learning methods, including interactive workshops, group discussions, field-based activities, cultural exchange sessions and daily reflection meetings. Young people will actively contribute to the design and implementation of activities, ensuring a participatory and learner-centred approach.
Special attention will be given to the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, providing equal access, supportive measures and a safe learning environment. Beyond the exchange activities, the project aims to strengthen long-term cooperation between participating youth organisations and to encourage participants to transfer their learning outcomes to their local communities.
