Promote cultural diversity, tolerance, and respect among youth through a dynamic youth exchange program based on non-formal education methods
In today's rapidly evolving societies, the need to embrace diversity and support the integration of minorities into new communities is more crucial than ever. Recent events in Europe show that there is a concerning rise in nationalist, populist, and far-right approaches against migrants, contributing to social division and intolerance. With the rise of radicalization against minorities and cultural alienation among vulnerable populations, fostering intercultural understanding and combating stereotypes are essential for building cohesive and connected societies.
This project aims to address these challenges by promoting cultural diversity, tolerance, and respect among 29 young people from Sweden, Georgia, and Spain through a dynamic youth exchange program based on non-formal education methods.
Objectives:
• To facilitate intercultural learning among youth from Sweden, Georgia, and Spain.
• To challenge stereotypes associated with cultures, religions, beliefs, and gender.
• To raise awareness and understanding of other cultures, promoting international networks, active participation in society, and a sense of European citizenship.
