Diversity for Transnationality

Our school locates right in the centre of the city. We are going to do activities concerning Turkish and Polis national identities.

Immigrants from Poland who later became citizens of Turkey add much value to Istanbul. Adam Mickiewicz Museum is also close to our school. We want our students to learn from their partners about Poland, its history and national identity. And to give feedback about these topics to them concerning Turkey.

We hope this interaction to raise awareness about diversity. We want to use diversity as a tool of questioning identities. Especially the idea of "uniquesness" of identities.

Our goal is to propose our students to evaluate the "country" not only as a "victory" of nationalism but as a humble part of earth.

We hope this awareness will ignite a self debate which will intersect with many of European ideals and values.
