The project activities will be implemented in Adana. Having been prepared within the scope of Youth Exchanges of Erasmus + Program , the project will be implemented in partnership between Turkey and Romania . 30 young participant will be included in the project activities.
The most important problem of the youth is the problem of “identity” accompanied with their effort to clutch onto the life and their concern to find a place for them in the society and to create a future for them. Technological dependences, the guiding elements on media (unreal lives and characters determining their roles and identity, etc.) lack of sharings and social communication due to metropolitan life, compulsory education, unemployment problem and the concern for future cause the young people to establish shaped, inured and guided identities rather than identities based on their personal characteristics and skills. It has become impossible for the youth to have access to areas, where they can be free to discover their skills based on their identities and characters and to social possibilities to prove themselves. Choosing the easiest with paying any effort, laziness of idea and activity and inability to learn the areas to prove and show their skills confine the youth to live shaped and directed lives. What the young people need and desire for is creation of a life philosophy surrounding the life and making the life meaningful, which will balance their identities and establish a permanent and a constant sense of belonging. For this reason, it is very important that the young people have occupations and habits, which will make positive impact on their personal identity developments. Within this context, the general objective of the project is to help the young people, who are exposed to technological and social inducement and directions within the modern life conditions, to discover their identities and reveal their hidden skills.
