Digital Theatre For Social Change

The Digital Theatre For Social Change empowers youth with theatre and digital tools to drive social impact and foster civic engagement across Europe.

The project Digital Theatre for Social Change, prepared for Erasmus+ KA220- YOU application and in search of a project coordinator and partners, empowers young people by combining theatre arts with digital learning tools to address social issues and promote civic engagement. The project achieves this by developing a MOOC platform that makes theatre education accessible online, incorporating interactive video tutorials, discussion forums, and collaborative spaces to equip participants with both digital skills and creative expression techniques.

By using forum theatre and other participatory methods, the project encourages youth to explore and propose solutions for pressing challenges like climate change and social justice, fostering active citizenship. This approach not only builds digital literacy and resilience but also supports the broader goal of digital transformation in education, ensuring that young people and educators are well-prepared for future learning environments.
