Digital Footprint

A digital footprint – sometimes called a digital shadow or an electronic footprint – refers to the trail of data you leave when using the internet. It includes websites you visit, emails you send, and information you submit online. A digital footprint can be used to track a person’s online activities and devices. Internet users create their digital footprint either actively or passively and mostly un consciously.
Within the scope of the project, a platform will be built to collect information from the sites where users leave their digital footprints.On this platform, users will be able to see what content is composed of their own data. In this way, the user will be able to see the precautions to be taken and at the same time learn what data he can access about himself from the outside.
