The aim is to equip youth workers with the necessary digital skills and knowledge to enhance their work with young people. By exploring and utilizing a variety of digital tools, participants will be able to engage more effectively, communicate more efficiently, and foster positive change within their communities. The project seeks to create a network of digitally literate youth workers who can leverage technology to empower and inspire the youth they serve.
Objectives:
- To improve the digital competencies of youth workers, ensuring they are confident and capable in using a variety of digital tools;
- To empower youth workers to use digital communication tools and social media platforms responsibly and effectively;
- To develop skills in creating engaging and relevant digital content, such as videos, blogs, and infographics, that resonates with the youth;
- To introduce and familiarize youth workers with digital project management and collaboration tools;
- To raise awareness and understanding of online safety, digital privacy, and ethical considerations;
- To encourage creativity and innovation in using digital tools for youth work;
- To create a network of youth workers across Europe who are skilled in using digital tools;
- To ensure that digital youth work practices promote inclusion and accessibility, reaching out to marginalized and less tech-savvy youths.
