Digital Comptences for Youth Workers

The aims of the project are to engage and support youth workers to engage and empower them with ICT skills and new competences to assist young people.

The project seeks to engage and support yyouth workers ICT skills. This will allow the opportunity for workers to develop new skills which are transferable and support or increase employability, confidence and motivation to explore new pathways for Young people. Young people may have limited mobility due to a number of factors. we aim to introduce online mobility and learn new cultures and have new experiences with other young people worldwide. Each topic will be geared towards areas chosen by the young people using ICT online voting, social media and blogs. Prior to the training an online debate will take place along with training sessions in order to motivate and develop the groups communication.

An understanding and experience of working with young people in urban areas from disadvantaged backgrounds. Group work and training sessions will be planned to motivate and prepare youth workers.
