The project, aims to create a conceptual model for trainings for advanced trainers (TAT).
The project comprises five key phases, initiated by a online survey among participating organizations to understand trainers' needs and wants.
1. Preparatory visitg (3+2 days) establishes the TAT concept by fostering collaboration and research.
2. Subsequently, the Pilot Training for Advanced Trainers (5+2 days) serves as a practical research phase to uncover risks and refine the TAT hypothesis through ongoing evaluation.
3. The Study Visit (3+2 days) emphasizes non-formal education integration, contributing to organizational capacity.
4. Advanced Training for Trainers - Proof of Concept (6+2 days) , implements the TAT model practically, incorporating empathy, research, and advanced theory.
5. The Partnership Building Activity (3+2 days) defines the final model, and sets the strategy for implemetation.
The project progresses through collaborative practices, advanced method testing, insights from a study visit, culminating in the practical implementation of the TAT model. It concludes with a refined training program and a conceptual TAT model, offering modular or partial implementation options for optimal training for advanced trainers.
The main target group are organisations with a developed pool of trainers that are aware of the potential of the pool. We cannot afford to get new trainers or people that want to become trainers on our two main TAT activities, since there will not be focus nor time to work on basics.
Minimum Recommended Standards for Partner Selection:
1. Active Trainers Pool with Experience
The organization must have an active pool of trainers with multiple years of experience. Ideally, these trainers should be engaged in ongoing in-house training programs designed for trainers.
2. Participation in Model Building
The organization must provide a person to be part of the model-building team, involved in all five activities. This individual should have at least 50 hours of training experience to ensure adequate expertise and participation.
3. Hosting Capacity for Activities
The organization must be prepared to host one of the four project activities (excluding the conceptual TAT). For ease of selection it is recommended to listtop three preferred activities to host, in order of preference. Optionaly, the organization should describe why it prefers these activities and what venue options it can offer.
4. Alignment with Values and Objectives
The project should align with the partner organization's values, mission, and long-term goals. Specifically, the organization must have a commitment to training and educating both new and advanced trainers and be ready to utilize the outcomes of the project to further these objectives.
5. Legal and Communication Assurance
A contract will be signed beforehand, ensuring that all organizations involved are legally compliant and that there are no reputational risks. Partners must commit to clear communication channels, transparency in operations, and a willingness to share relevant information throughout the project.
That maintains clarity and formalizes the requirements to ensure potential partners understand the expectations.
