Call for partners
Daphne Programme
Project proposal by Kalimera – Società Cooperativa Sociale (Italy)
Note: the Applicant of the project will be the Region Campania (Public Body). The Region launched a public call to find a local Italian partner. Kalimera Social Cooperative is going to apply. One of the requirement is to have a transnational partner that will accept to join the project and to sign a letter of commitment. This call for partner is to meet this mandatory requirement.
Project title: “Sì alla differenza, no alla violenza”
Background:
The problem of the violence against women has its roots in the creation of cultural sexist stereotypes. Basing on the division between male activities (defence of the territory and work for getting food) and female activities (grow up children) has turned into a division of social roles and social power.
General objective:
To act on a cultural change to fight stereotypes, starting from the early childhood.
Activities to be implemented:
To grow up respecting differences.
1. educational activities to fight gender stereotypes which are deeply inside the society. These activities will be realised in primary schools. The educational path will be based on the model of “active pedagogy” and “group relational animation”;
2. training activities about the topics of gender differences for people working in education and training sectors;
3. activities of dissemination, publicity and thematic workshops.
Aims of the activities:
- to foster the changing processes in the dynamics of gender relations, through specific trainings for developing a new culture more based on the respect of human rights and gender equality;
- to fight bullying phenomena;
- to fight phenomena of cyberbullying and cyberstalking;
- to start a process of awareness to prevent, to fight and to reduce the phenomenon of violence and abuse against women and other possible victims.
Beneficiaries:
- pupils and students between 2 and 18 years old in primary schools, elementary schools and high schools (involved as local partner of the organisations).
- educators, teachers, trainers, sport trainers, youth workers, volunteers and all the people involved in educational activities.
Partners (at local level)
Nursery schools, elementary schools, high schools, youth centers.
Role of the transnational partner:
The partner involved with the present “Call for partners” will have the role of implementing the activity 3: dissemination of the scientific results among the target groups in its Country and possibly in Europe through the network of partners.
Also, the budget for the partner will be used for tools of dissemination, communication and promotion, and also for the organisation of thematic events with local partners.
The Social Cooperative Kalimera will be in charge of the scientific supervision and the creation of educational materials.
The main feature of the partner should be the capability to involve in the dissemination strategy the mentioned local partners and beneficiaries.
Note: the number of dissemination activities, workshops and materials to be produced will change according to the budget assigned by the Applicant organisation (Regione Campania).
Optional: if the partner has the will, the capacities and the internal human resources (or the budget will allow to hire external professionals), it could support Kalimera in the production of educational materials and tools.
