Cycloproject

The project is centered on the idea of educating people on the importance of safety in traffic and environment protection trough bike riding.
Starting from our analysis in the safety in traffic in Romania and identifying the same problems in Bulgaria and Macedonia we consider proper to come up with an action plan in order to improve the situation both as an positive impact on the health of the population and on the environment.
The main activities of the project are:
- Development of a training-kit for bike riding (similar with the one for vehicles): January – March 2017
- Training modules: instructors for bike riding: 4 persons/partner , 10 days training course in Romania, April 2017
- Adult mobility 2 months (June – July 2017):
2 persons from Bulgaria will be hosted in Macedonia and 2 in Romania
2 persons from Macedonia will be hosted in Bulgaria and 2 in Romania
2 persons from Romania will be hosted in Bulgaria and 2 in Macedonia
The persons send will be the same that took the classes on the TC in Romania.
In order to :
a) Train the adults on the community on how to use the bicycle on public roads in a safe way;
b) Develop a “cyclolibrary” – info point and exchange of good practice between cyclists)
c) Local campaign on promoting the bicycle versus vehicle due to positive impact on both health and environment
d) Additional activities can be foreseen according to the participants needs/suggestions/ideas.
