Analyzing the components in milk and dairy products and improving food quality and contributing to employment by developing new products

It is of great importance to develop competitive strategies for the marketing of milk and dairy products produced in the Balikesir region, which is located in the Mediterranean basin and is the second most important region in terms of food production in Turkey. The main objective of this project is to analyze the components contained in animal milk and dairy products through the use of high technological devices and to determine the composition of the nutrient content specific to the region and the absence of undesirable components to
maintain quality standards. It is aimed to increase food quality through interactions and synergy with international collaborations established in this process. In the South Marmara region located in the mediterranean basin, the analysis of milk and dairy products specific to the Balıkesir region will be carried out to determine local flavors and quality standards. This will contribute to the branding and marketing of products specific to the region. In addition, courses, workshops and seminars will be organized in order to strengthen employment with the training of qualified personnel and to provide different methodological perspectives within the scope of academic expert staff and high infrastructure acquired.
