Culture Vision: Digital Culture and Media Workshops for Youth

Culture Vision is a 12-month project that empowers youth to explore and reinterpret their cultural heritage through digital storytelling.

roject Description:

Culture Vision: Digital Culture and Media Workshops for Youth is an innovative 12-month initiative designed to empower young people to explore, reinterpret, and celebrate their cultural heritage through digital storytelling. Targeting individuals aged 15-30 from diverse backgrounds, the project combines intensive training in video production, creative scriptwriting, and digital storytelling with immersive fieldwork experiences. Participants will work in teams to research local cultural traditions, visit historical sites, and engage with community artists, ultimately producing high-quality video narratives that showcase their unique cultural perspectives.

Through a series of interactive workshops and hands-on mentoring sessions led by experienced media professionals and cultural experts, youth will develop practical skills in filming, editing, and digital media promotion. The project not only enhances media literacy and creative expression but also fosters active citizenship and strengthens international youth networks by connecting participants with broader SALTO Youth and global cultural platforms.

Ultimately, Culture Vision aims to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity, ensuring that cultural narratives are preserved, reimagined, and disseminated for future generations while equipping young people with the tools they need to become innovative storytellers and cultural ambassadors in a digital world.
