CULTURE CAVES & GREEN FUTURE

Cesa Youth Forum is an institutional body promoting active citizenship, social inclusion and non-formal learning for young people through local.

The Youth Forum of Cesa is the official advisory body of the Municipality of Cesa (Italy), representing citizens aged 16 to 34. Our mission is to foster democratic participation, promote the culture of legality, and enhance social inclusion. We regularly organize workshops, environmental awareness campaigns, and cultural activities to engage young people, including those with fewer opportunities. With the institutional support of the local administration, we have access to facilities suitable for hosting international activities. Our team consists of volunteers: we are committed to bringing a European dimension to our territory, stimulating intercultural dialogue and helping participants develop new soft skills. We aim to empower the younger generation to become active European citizens through mobility and cooperation.
This is our Instagram channel, where some of our main initiatives and activities are showcased.

Project overview

CULTURE CAVES & GREEN FUTURE is a project by
Forum Giovani Di Cesa
taking place
from 2026-06-22 till 2026-07-11
This project relates to:
Youth Exchanges, Volunteering Activities (formerly EVS), Capacity Building
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Economic obstacles
The Target Group "The project involves young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who face a combination of social and economic obstacles. Specifically, the target group is composed of: Young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) living in deprived urban areas or suburban areas with poor services. Young people from low-income or single-parent families, who often have never had the opportunity to travel abroad for financial reasons. Young people experiencing social marginalization, with a limited network of contacts and difficulties entering the labor market, which have led to a loss of self-esteem and isolation. What type of support is needed? In this section, you should explain how the organization will use the funds (specifically Inclusion Support) to address the barriers listed above. To ensure the full and equal participation of these young people, we will provide the following types of support: Direct Financial Support: Full and upfront coverage of travel and insurance costs, to prevent participants from having to pay money their families don't have. We will also provide assistance in obtaining any necessary documents (e.g., ID card/passport) if cost is a barrier. Enhanced Mentoring: Each national group will have a Group Leader specifically trained in managing young people with fewer opportunities. Individual pre-departure meetings will be organized to manage travel anxiety and prepare the young people for the intercultural context. Logistical and Linguistic Support: Physical accompaniment from places of residence to departure points (train stations/airports) and ongoing linguistic support during the exchange for young people with low levels of education. Personalized Follow-up: Upon return, an orientation program will be provided to help participants translate the skills acquired during the exchange (soft skills) into concrete opportunities for job seeking or return to the education system." (Role-playing games, creative workshops, simulations) to engage those who have difficulty with traditional study methods (social/educational obstacles).
