The Partner-Finding Tool
Culture Bridge Project aims that young people get to know their own cultures more deeply, they have a respectful, tolerant attitude to different cultures.
Youth exchange program gives an opportunity to groups of young people, who are from different countries, to meet and get information about each other.
Thanks to youth exchange program young people who live in rural area, who have financial difficulty and who don’t have a chance to meet various cultures, can interact with several cultures.
From this point of view, Culture Bridge Project aims that the young people get to know their own cultures more deeply, they have a respectful, tolerant attitude to different cultures and they welcome cultural interaction.
The youth exchange program is going to be carried out in the partnership of 4 countries. Demirci Anatolian Religious Vocational High School is the host institution.
All the participants are going to attend every activity which is performed within the scope of the project. Thereby, 16 participants and 4 group leaders, in total 20 people are going to join the youth exchange program.
The participants are going to be the students who are between 14-18, who live in rural area, who have financial difficulty and the students whose parents passed away (death of mother, death of father or death of both of them) or whose parents got divorced.
The students who are under these conditions have more limited opportunities than their peer. With the help of this opportunity, the youth meet several cultures and they are going to be more inclined to communication.
In this regard, the most important outcome of the project is that the participants are going to consider themselves as Europe citizens who welcome cultural interaction. The other vital outcomes are that most of the participants are going to travel by plane for the first time; they are going to develop the skill of independent life by spending 6 days away from their families, homes.
