The youth exchange was a way to take a trip in the Arab world during the Ramadan holiday, a time when cultures and traditions have met and dialogued.
The initiative was designed and organized by the Torino Sofarae Assalam associations and. Eufemia with the collaboration of the association AFAQ and cultural center Dar Al Hikma. The main topic was social inclusion. The youth exchange was a way to take a trip in the Arab world during the Ramadan holiday, a time when cultures and traditions have met and dialogued, a way to meet and discuss methods of integration of foreigners in new countries. It was also an interesting opportunity to participate in various workshops, deepen and more information on Ramadan, the month holy fasting for Muslims, choosing to experience it for ten days. Participants in the exchange had, in fact, the opportunity to follow the Muslim fasting program: meals you took place after 21:30 Iftar (the first meal after sunset with the fact that the stop sfasting) and before sunrise to 05:00 with Suhoor, the last meal before the fast of the day. They were organized Iftar open to the citizens in the Republic Square and at the Cavallerizza Reale. On July 17, the final conclusion was organized party of Ramadan Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important holidays of the Islamic religion which marks the end of the holy month.
