It is a school education project and we aim to leverage cultural diversity and integrate technology to create culturally responsive classrooms.
Our organization, overseeing 112 schools and serving approximately 28K students, faces a growing challenge with the integration of disadvantaged students. Reports from our disciplinary department highlight difficulties these students encounter, including lower academic performance and struggles with social integration. In a world where multiculturalism is an undeniable reality, these challenges call for a proactive, inclusive approach.
This project aims to leverage cultural diversity as a strength, not a barrier. By equipping teachers with the skills to create culturally responsive classrooms and integrating technology to foster inclusion, we seek to empower both student. Our objectives are:
• Raising awareness of EU cultural values among students and staff.
• Strengthening the digital competence of teachers and students, ensuring they can effectively use technology for educational and cultural engagement.
• Promoting equity and inclusivity in classrooms, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
• Engaging students with course content that resonates with their diverse backgrounds and strengthens their sense of identity.
• Equipping students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills that prepare them for the challenges of a globalized world.
These objectives are directly linked to our priorities of inclusive education and digital transformation.
We give priority for mutual collaboration.
We have experiences in eTwinning and Erasmus+.
We,Portugal and Turkey, are seeking a partner organization that is either an NGO with a focus on cultural initiatives and inclusive practices or an institution/municipality capable of providing training on digitalization for teachers and students.
We welcome both experienced and less experienced schools.
