Cultural Exchange In Morocco 2017

The volunteers will develop personal competences living and
working in new environment as well as contribute to local community working on the activities that will foster
intercultural learning and dialogue. Important part of the volunteers’ activities is courses of cultures for local youth
in order to promote cultural diversity and tolerance (understanding) to different cultures.

Tasks of Participants:
1- To prepare cultural courses for local young people interested in cultural dialogue and in specific cultures of
volunteers. Courses will be based on promoting volunteers cultures, traditions, languages, specific arts’ fields –
intercultural learning with a help of non-formal and informal educations’ methods and methodologies. The main
idea of these courses is to introduce local young people with other cultures and to make them be more openminded
and tolerant to other cultures, as well as to improve some of their competencies as well.
2- Creating a table game on Intercultural dialogue that will promote tolerance and will increase interest of
different cultures (especially the once that volunteers will represent). It will be a final volunteers work all together
and will be developt during all activities they will do.
PROJECT’S ACTIVITIES:
Theatre – Cultural activities – Workshops – seminars – excursions.

Food and Accommodation:
Every Participant will live in a Moroccan hosting family where they will have the opportunity to be immersed in the
Moroccan cultural.

What is expected of the Participants?
 To be able to speak at least basic English or French.
 To arrive at the camp place on the arrival day and depart on the departure day.
 To bring a big smile and enthusiasm.
