"Cultural Constellation": Connecting Cultures Across Europe

Youth exchange in Esquivias (Toledo, Spain) for young people aged 13–17, with accommodation in host families.

Cultural Constellation is a youth exchange that will take place in Esquivias (Toledo, Spain), bringing together young people aged 13–17 from Spain and another European country. Each group will include 4 participants and 2 youth leaders.

Participants will stay with host families from the local Spanish group (families of the young participants), allowing a closer cultural experience and daily interaction with local life.

The project is planned for summer 2026 or during the winter holidays (late December or early January), with flexible dates to be agreed with the partner organisation.

The project will focus on intercultural learning, youth participation, creativity and personal development through non-formal education. During the exchange, participants will explore topics such as cultural diversity, identity, communication between cultures, teamwork, inclusion and artistic expression as a way of connection between people.

We are also open to promoting green travel options for participants, encouraging more sustainable ways of travelling.

We are looking for one partner organisation that can both send a group of young people and also host our group in the future, in order to build a mutual and long-term cooperation.

Proyecto Kieu
taking place
from 2026-08-01 till 2027-01-15
This project relates to:
Youth Exchanges
and is focusing on:
  • Art
  • Democracy/Active citizenship
  • Environment
  • European citizenship
  • Gender equality
  • Health
  • Human rights
  • Integration
  • Intercultural dialogue
  • Non-formal learning
This project can include young people with fewer opportunities like
  • Social obstacles
  • Economic obstacles
  • Educational difficulties
  • Cultural differences
The project is open to the participation of young people with fewer opportunities, including cultural, social and economic differences, thus promoting inclusion and equal opportunities. This means that some participants may come from fewer opportunity backgrounds, but it is not a requirement for all participants. As an organisation, we offer the necessary support to ensure the participation and inclusion of all young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. This includes support in the preparation before the exchange, accompanying participants during activities, adapting inclusive non-formal activities, and coordinating accommodation in host families. A safe, educational and inclusive environment is also guaranteed throughout the whole experience.
