Youth exchange for young adults. Subject : artistic activities and commitment in cultural organizations and their place in society.

The audience
Young people from 18 to 25 years old.
Aims.
- Share knowledge and experiences
- Value skills learnt through cultural and artistic practices
-Share vision of the future, and the place that culture can take in the building of the future society.
- Organize together an event in the circus tent.
- Experiment a self management system.
- Share eco-friendly practices in cultural events.
Action
A 15 days meeting on a theme: artistic practices and commitment in cultural organizations.
Exchange of experiences between participants through workshops. (ex : how do you organize a concert in your country, what is to be a volunteer in a festival, how are artistic practices organized in each country)… Workshops will be sustained by theory.
Visits and meetings with local actors who establish cultural projects on the territory.
Artistic workshops: circus, music, theater led by participants and/or professionals.
Organization of an event in a circus tent: welcome of groups, welcome of the audience, technique, bar, catering… A concrete and collective experience of organization…
Hosting
Camping on the association’s area, in Saint Lezin, named “domaine culturel”.
Partners
There is already a potential group interested in, in Serbia (Novi Sad)
The Place
In St Lézin, a little village of 800 inhabitants, located between Angers and Nantes.
Un Pas De Côté has its offices in the cultural area of the village, in the center of the village. We have offices, meeting rooms and a large park outside with a kitchen, toilets and our circus tent.
